That went by so fast didn't it? But, like my previous post said, I still have so many other things to do on this site. My work is never truly finished.
Hopefully I can get my butt in gear, and upload things faster then I have been doing. It's hard to watch so many shows and remember everything. XD
Gntm Cycle 3 will be done with today, as will it's review. Also, look for the review on antm 13, pr 6 and motr 1.
Till then, have a great few months everyone! I probably won't be updating that much for awhile, unless some new information pops up about new shows. :3 And the occasional comment here or there. x3

Wow.
That went by SUPER fast.
It seems like just yesterday, I was anticipating the long return from Pr and staring at pre-show photos of Cycle 13.
Though technically Antm 13 will have only aired 11 episodes so maybe that's why it seems faster then norm. If your wondering about a recap episode, it will be airing AFTER the finale this time around. I kinda like that idea better actually.
After that, no new shows to look forward to until next year.
But no need to fear. I still have a lot of things for you guys to look forward to that I haven't gotten to yet. I've been so busy with life that I've neglected this site just a tad. XD
Despite this slight setback of having a life -laughs- I will continue posting more gntm and other things fairly soon. :)

Pros:
+ Tons of contestants who not only bring diversity, but are truly different from one another. In all sorts of ways.
++ It was nice to see that Heidi continues to be present at each photo shoot.
+ Photo shoots were intriguing to say the least.
++ If Sara and Gina-Lisa had their own show, I'd so watch it.
+ Finale was so beautiful. I had to watch it twice.
++ Someone finally caught on that drama = fun. XD
Cons:
- I can't help feeling that runway challenges were rushed.
-- A lot of the shoots were from Antm Cycle 8. It became really obvious when I saw the gender swapping couple shoot.
- This cycle had SO many contestants. I lost track of a lot of people.
-- That one girl complains so much....she was also super unprofessional.
- The same girls win the challenges over and over...and over...
My Conclusion: 5 Stars
How can they keep pushing these cycles out with greatness? I have no idea. Though at times this cycle comes across not as exciting but they finally figured out how to balance drama with modeling. :3 I likes.

Me: "Oh..they are doing the crystal bald shoot from Antm cycle 6! I'd like to see their take on it! :)"
Next shoot
Me: "Oh they...are doing a four seasons shoot challenge O_o?"
That episode
Me: "Isn't that firefighter gear? I'm having a deju vu moment here..."
Next shoot
Me: "Are they going on a trampoline? Wait a minute...they are falling on a mat...dressed as fairy tale charac... ......"
That Episode
Me: "NOW THEY ARE GOING TO THAILAND!?! WHAT IS THIS? I'll be damned if they do a shoot with an elephant."
And wouldn't you know it. They had to pose on an elephant. At some point, you get this feeling of "Is this antm cycle 6 or am I daydreaming." They have other elements of antm 4 (walking on water), antm 5 (superheroes in an alley), antm 7 (bobbing runway shoot and act out a scene with a verb) and even something from bntm 1 (frog princess anyone?). So being the critical person I am, I was hoping that they'd do better then the originals.....suffice it to say, it bordered on ok to not really. If your gonna copy something exactly that has been done already, then it has to be better. At least, that's what Mr. Jay says (in cycle 6 of all cycles!). Anyways, in general you can see this cycle has a lot of other ntm's mixed into it with their own twist but even so, it definitely doesn't detract from the greatness that this show is. Guaranteed you'll enjoy it.
Pros:
+ This somehow tops it's first cycle by miles.
++ Loved all the different contestants.
+ Makeovers as fabulous as always.
++ Some of those shoots have incredible results.
+ Runway shows galore!
++ A little more drama for those of you who love those catty bitches. :P
Cons:
- Is this Antm cycle 6 or what?
-- I still think the background music is overly distracting. Especially at the end where it was overly dramatic.
- God these episodes are so long. x.x
-- Judging panel is also incredibly long. I have a life! >.<
- Again, they didn't show every girls photos at judging. It was REALLY bad this time around. I want to see photos dammit!
My Conclusion: 5 Stars
Hey Tyra...when is Antm getting an international destination to Germany? We could use a little of this shows pizazz. :)

Here's a guide to what you'll be seeing and what it means:
1 Star
The worst possible rating to ever give a series. It usually means that this is not worth your precious time viewing. You should be out playing outside or do something else that's useful, because you'll most likely end up regretting those moments of your life your never getting back. Though this rating is extremely rare, so don't expect to be seeing it very often (hopefully).
2 Stars
Though not exactly any better then 1 star, it usually means the season had it's perks. It's just not exactly spectacular. Usually when this rating shows up, it means that the season was somewhat boring and/or not very memorable. Though it may have enough perks to watch it once.
3 Stars
Can be deemed the "just right" rating. Doesn't mean that the season is overly good or overly bad. It's just enough to keep you wanting more. Kinda common rating.
4 Stars
:D A somewhat great season to watch. A must see season with lots of drama/good photo shoots/challenges, contestants etc. I recommend watching these seasons more then once because it's probably a great one.
5 Stars
An excellent score. These aren't as rare as the 1 star rating, but not as common as the 3 or even 4 stars. Definitely worth a watch many times and most likely a fan favorite. A season has to be damn good for this score to appear.
A rating with half a star
A half of a star, regardless of what rating it is, usually means that I think that it's almost there, but was just missing a few things to give it a full star. Doesn't mean that's a bad thing or that the season is entirely bad. It's just missing a few parts. :0
I'll also post a final conclusion as well as pros and cons about the seasons. But please, regardless of what I think, you guys make the decision on what you want to watch or not.

+ Well hot damn, this one really IS a modeling competition!
++ Runway challenges at every judging panel? Smart, smart, smart.
+ God what pretty women. (doesn't Jennifer look similar to Giselle from antm cycle 1?)
++ Photo shoots equals HEAVEN!
+ Yay for Heidi being present on photo shoots.
++ Bruce is an even better runway coach then J. Alexander. (I'm going to hell for saying that!)
Cons:
- I actually missed the catfights. There is NONE so someone out there is getting bored.
-- Okay...I get it. Heidi is/was an amazing model. Can we PLEASE focus on the contestants now?
- Almost every girl had an identical twin at some point. (Jennifer looked similar to Micaela...Lena looked exactly like Janina....Charlotte could have been Rahel....) I had a huge difficulty figuring out who was who.
-- Psyche out eliminations suck. Especially since most of the girls call out order were done at random.
- Also, since I had such difficulty figuring out who was who, they'd do a call out and wouldn't say the girls names. It was hard to tell who was kept because it was done so fast.
-- The back round music was a tad too distracting at times.
- Live finales are cool and all...but does the last photo shoot have to be live as well?
-- I noticed that they didn't show every girls photo at judging. :/
My Conclusion: 5 Stars
Wow this review is longer then I thought. Just watch the show. It's totally worth it.

- Listening to:Zombies on your Lawn - Laura Shigihara
This show is the first, and most likely, last cycle that would have a modeling competition with disabled models. At first, I felt that maybe it was too controversial to even post since something like this in America would be torn to shreds as being exploitive. But the show just blew my mind that I had to post it. Though this show had the same ingredients as every other next top model, it had more of a documentary feel to it which made it feel very personal. The contestants also made it really watchable because their drive was all about modeling and not a publicity stamp. And is it me? Or are the photo shoots pretty much amazing? Though sometimes the show did feel a bit depressing when certain issues came up. Anyways, bottom line for this show is to not look at it as different but to look at it like you would with any other NTM. A competition with lovely young women who want to become models. Definitely a great series and highly recommended.
Pros:
+ I loved the fact that it felt like a documentary but at the same time was a competition. P
++ Photo shoots are fabulous.
+ That runway challenge was not only touching but is probably something we will never see again.
++ It never felt that these women were at all being exploited for ratings.
Cons:
- It's far too short (only 5 episodes with one special)
-- It sometimes made you want to cry with some of the issues they talked about.
- It really makes one think about perfection in the modeling world.
-- I can't believe she would even try to compare disabilities.
- They most likely will never make another show like this again. :<
My Conclusion: 5 Stars

I'm also in the process of finding Gntm so look for future updates with those seasons coming up as well as Austria's ntm. I was also thinking of posting the show Britain's Missing next top model though I heard it brought up some controversy since it has to do with models with disabilities.
If you guys are at all interested I'll most likely post it sometime in the next two weeks or so. I'm kinda curious ti see it myself actually.
